Here's another thingy thing question. Car is a 69. There is a piece of black rubber about an inch wide, 30-40 inches long with a screw at each end and a few "press" clips along its length. This thingy mounts in back on the underside of the hood and seals the hood from the cowl(?). One edge has a groove along its length, sort of a compression lip. I have forgotten how this piece is oriented. Does the "compression" groove face the firewall or the front of the car? I've poured over my FSM and can't find what this piece is called nor its orientation. As always, thanks DC crew.
