Anyone buy anything from Vans Auto Salvage LLC? Their prices sure look good. For example, their 13" armrests bases are $49.00 versus YO at $90.00. I know YO is high but......

Also, their brake pedal pads are $9.99 to YO's $16.00.

Thanks....Kevin

I got the fuel sender... looks really good, and even better priced ( $55 shipped ). JUST TESTED YESTERDAY AND GOT FULL AND EMPTY READ ON GAUGE with real and amazing precision.

everything still out of the gas tank, just moving floater.

they have very good prices - not like some vendors that charge 10 times as much!

I know this thread is close to three years old but recently I stumbled across some bad reviews on this place. But it's hard to tell with those reviews if it's just a competitor doing some bashing or real customers who've been screwed. Since I've never dealt with them I'm looking for some reviews I can trust.

I bought a turn signal cam that was completely wrong from them.
Ended up sourcing one locally that actually fitted.(And I'm in Oz too)
That's the one and only time I've bought from them though......
Gotta love a '69

I bought the arm rest bases as described above  and a few other odds and ends and had no problems with them at all and I,m in Australia.

They have been at Carlisle the last few years. I have bought a few small things from them there. They are good guys to deal with.

That's the problem with these online yellow pages-type sites. No accountability.

I got ONCE AGAIN service from them. The fuel sender I got from them years ago got damaged the floater ( as you can expect from allmost any repro piece :-\ what we know comes from those countries with sloted eyes ). No complaints, once again great service and GREAT international shipping charges... it did cost me the same than internal USA shipping...  I think it was around $13-15 for 2 floaters, one for me and another one for a friend... including shipping!!!!

I bought door handles for my first gen ... the pieces were not exatly correct and I had to modify them to get them to work.  And after all that, they broke in one season.
Overseas junk.  Not sure how their other stuff is, but I would stay away from those.

well I'm talking about seller itself, customer service etc... products, well, we know where they come and quality. I think is some random deal, soooooo I don't think vendor total guilty

Wow this shop's price looks very attracting to buyers. I might go purchase some auto parts if they can offer me the "LOWEST" price ever vended in the market.. HAHAHAHA!

Is there a point in there somewhere?
