"Very well detailed" means something different in Kentucky than the rest of the USA.

Quick on/off topic question: I have a steering wheel for sale exactly like the one in the pic, without cracks and some pitting on top of the horn ring.
Can anybody tell me what it is worth because I can't find one for sale on ebay etc. to compare. Thanks in advance, Lennard

I know that these cars are most often worth more when repainted in the original color, but THIS color ? Its like a swimsuit model in a trenchcoat. The paint does NOTHING to promote the beautiful character lines of the 68-70 styling.

I got a real good deal on an identical wheel for about $35 a little over a year ago. It is easily worth 2 or three times that. My  :Twocents:

It's pretty sad what some people call COMPLETELY RESTORED these days...

How about this one "restored" on a rotisserie ... Just finished, less than 2 miles on it, and over $45k into it??  :brickwall:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969-General-Lee-rotisserie-restored-Dukes-68-70-/220749484172?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item3365b1d08c

The undercarriage is filthy. The engine bay is ratty... It looks like it was spray bombed... Wires hanging under the dash... No steering wheel horn button/cap... spliced wiring..air shocks... Who knows, but to me, $45k should give you a bit more...

didn't even put the wipers back on

It has its faults, but it is a pretty nice car.
I've seen it before @ a local show.
It was on the local craigslist for $28.5 though, now the reserve is met @ 19......

Now that would have been an honest and accurate description rather than "fully restored from the ground up" I think. :2thumbs:
