Well, I received the go ahead this afternoon. So here it is guys and gals.

With mucho prodding by myself over the past 6 months. It's ready for public release.

This is an all new piece made to replicate an original as close as reasonably possibile with todays technologies and materials .
This is the wiring harness clip that folds back up on itself to secure the front end and battery wiring above the brake system used. It mounts behind , folds over , and is secured by the master cylinder re-inforcement plate behind the master cylinder.
Hot dipped galvanized plated steel as original. The end that was rubber coated originally is powder coated to give the illusion of the original, but with added durability built in. Fully laser cut and then press die-formed. .
Shown next to an original for comparisons sake.

Part number is replaces is 6015613. Applications include 1966 up thru and including 1970 B-bodies. Regardless of manual or power brakes.
In my research over the past 6 months that this has been in the works. I found 2 different lengths used with no rhyme or reason to defined application. Whether it be the long one shown here, or the shorter one . If sales go well, the shorter version will have a better chance to being done to go along with it. If sales flop , then this will be the only one produced.

I pointed to two old drunks sitting across the bar from us and told my friend
"That's us in 10 years".
He said "That's a mirror, dip-shit!

It's already been discussed.,,,,,,,, so I'll ask, how much is it worth to you?

I can have it done, but it's  in a 100 piece minimum run count. And the problem with that particular bracket, is it's one year only and even then A/C car only. So retail would have to be high enough on the 1st 15-20 brackets that they would have to pay for the run. because I'd probably die with the remaining brackets.

The non A/C bracket is $15 and it fits at least 2 years but is sold for use on 1966 up thru 1970 . so,,,,,,, is it worth $35 ?, $45 ?

And this is more tounge in cheek than anything .
But,,, I'll make you a deal,,,,, I'll guarentee you the very 1st one out of the tool. for the measly sum of,,,,oh,,,,, lets say - $100 and I can have it in your hands in less than 30 days from today.

Yea, those long ones are a pain in the ass to find. The Galvanized, I don't mind, but I'd cover it up after I bought it.

Hmmmmmmmm???????  No.

In all seriousness. I wonder what it would have to be priced at to sell. I've talked about it and I can have it done and in my hand by the end of the month. But my fear is they would have to be priced too high to make it worth while for me to recoupe my investment ina reasonable amount of time, and no 10 years is not a reasonable time frame.

I've done the math and to make it worth while , they would need to be in the $35 to $45 price range each. I couild probably cut that in about half if I took it off shore. But to me it's paramount it be made in the USA if at all posibile.

I don't think that anyone who is restoring a Charger and needs that bracket would complain at $45,  $45 is nothing for a part that is seen and is new.

Chargerrtforme

On the 69 A/C bracket, I found mine on eBay for 10.00 a while back but I'd pay 30ish if I saw it listed somewhere.
