I realized I haven't posted up here yet, but just a quick Khyron update... My 36 Chevy project and further work on the Charger will be paused right now as I have separated with my wife and we are startin gon our divorce.

I guess I'm lucky as this is a very polite, nice and amicable one, unlike my first, we have split everything, talked and worked our support and everything out without the courts or lawyers.... The Charger and my projects are safe and she has signed off on them, The house will get sold and we are splitting everything 50 / 50, we're still friends and friendly, we just cant live with each other anymore.

I'm staying with a friend to get on my feet, I'll still be around, but if you were following my projects, just know that they are on hold.

Wish me luck :-)

I'm sure we all hope the best for you,..  :pity:   :yesnod:

Absolutely we all hope for the best. My first divorce went alright and we are still friends. My second one sucked and cost me a bundle. I threw my third one out with nothing but her car and her clothes. I told her that we could stay married forever but we were finished as a couple. I also told her that I had bought my last divorce in 85 and if she wanted one that she was going to have to pay for it... So she paid for it all.

Good luck, We're all rooting for you.

It's never good when things like this happen, but at least you ended it relatively smoothly and not getting the lawyers involved. All the best!

Man, I'm sorry to hear about this. No amount of "keep your head up" and "Things will get better" posts will help the way you're feeling...  What ever you do, don't start talking to Chuck..  That's the only bit of advice I can give you

Well Jason, you seem to be handling it a whole lot better than I did. I couldn't put on a "happy face" long enough to reply to one post around here for months. I'm still not my old self either, probably never will be.
I wish the best for you, your recovery & future happiness. I'm glad you both worked things out amicably, that's sort of rare in these situations. Here's to you, brother!

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

hmmmmmmmmmmm life is weird, Just when you think you have something figured out, something goes and throws a wrench in things...... what is the proper time for "morning" in this type of situation?

Am I suppost to be upset? I mean.... i keep waiting for it to kick in..... Then I wonder, was the marraige so bad that im more worried about getting a new interior for the charger then being asked to leave the house...

It kicks in as soon as you leave the court room. When my first wife and I split I walked out of that room feeling like I lost my best friend.  When I left the court room on my second one,  I felt like a criminal on death row that got clemency from the govorner.

One thing that you have to watch for is rebounding, and that can happen up to a year after the divorce. Been there done that. That's how I ended up with exwife# 2.
