Exhaust advice needed

I have a 2006 R/T.  I am planning on getting flowmasters put on in the future.  For now I was going to have the resos deleted to get more sound, leaving the stock mufflers on.  Has anyone done this and how did it sound?  Also what is the drone everyone is talking about?

I'm sure there is a web forum for your type of car. This site is for 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation Chargers specically. Good luck.

Check YouTube, there should be a variety of videos with different exhaust configurations.

Drone is a steady soundwave that is heard in the passenger compartment, resonators muffle the drone.

Helping a buddy put a Borla system on his 2008 Challenger 5.7 next weekend . Will see how it sounds.

Flowmaster's in the 2.5 - 3 inch size seam to have more restiction then the Magnaflows and Ultrafows. I like the 3 inch Magnaflows on my 7.2L Charger.
