Best Resources to learn about '68-70 Chargers???????????

I had my heart set on buying a Corvette, and had done a bunch of research on them (with my two choices being a '70/71 454 or a '59/60 if I physically fit into that generation better) only to find out recently that I can't fit in either reasonably, and still work a clutch. (I'm 6'5")

I've had multiple GM A body muscle cars in the past, and currently still own a 1970 Buick GS455 convertible -- so I know that I fit in the "standard size" muscle car just fine.

I've been interested in the '68-70 Charger for some time -- and now that I've put the Corvette bug to rest -- time to get more serious.

I did some internet searches, and looked on Amazon -- but I don't see any great books/resources to teach me the details of exactly what to look for, what to be careful of, buying guides, etc. (There are numerous books like this for Corvettes.)

Does anyone know of specific internet sites, books, etc. that will make me an "informed" Charger buyer? I will certainly peruse this site --which really looks nice -- but I would really like a discrete reference to refer to if it exists. Thanks

CB

Yep, this site is going to be one of your best resources.

I can't really think of any single written source that could be used a a "buyers guide" really, lots of decent books out there but they all seem to be
rather general in scope.

I strongly suggest that you simply take the time and monitor this site, and actually reading threads in all the sections as they get posted up. After a while you end up absorbing more than any book out there. Trust me, I have been doing just that for at least 6 yrs and there is no better source out there.  :2thumbs: :2thumbs:
