I searched and didn't find this anywhere, so I thought I'd post it.

From this site, with an enormous number of original papers on various autos.

i notice on the brochure that the charger emblem on the top has the rectangular dodge emblem after it. was that a R/T thing? it wasnt on my 68 with white vinyl top. :shruggy:

I saw an old thread from about 2006 that suggested it was a very early build date thing. Mine doesn't have it either.

years ago i read they put sand baggs in the trunk and engine Compartment in many photo shoots so the cars would sit lower and look sexier,.. I dunno if this is one of those but I know pontiacs did that, taking liberties with the cars dimensions especially in the illustrations fro the "Wide Track" look...
Anyhow I love that side view I remember when we got the Sunday Paper in Oct. of '68 and that Advert. Insert was in there, I was in seventh heaven and swore someday I'd have one of those R/Ts!  :yesnod:

Mine does have it, but it is not original.

And I have that original brochure in my collection...fun stuff.

That could be; but my base model rode suprisingly low to the ground when it had the 14" wheels.

That car looks like it might be turbine metallic bronze.  Good stuff.

It looks like it has the short 9" front armrests in that brochure photo.
