This has been listed about three or four times. I think it started out around 18K asking price.

nvrbdn

cant really see the normal rust areas or trunk and would rather have original seat covers, but it looks nice. if it runs good and isnt hiding lots of items, good price in my book.

That's one of the earlier postings, it has an engine bay picture. Looks pretty clean under the hood other than they didn't feel the need to invest in spark plug wire clips.

The price is okay, could even be a great deal, but it depends on the true condition. Hope you get to look at in person so you don't end up with something that needs more dollars in repairs than the asking price.

Ha, you could be right.  But yeah I would never buy a car sight unseen. I would really like to find someone that really knows the cars to check out whichever one I decide to buy. I am not really ready to buy just yet, but I could for the right deal and that is so close to me I am tempted to take a look,

Bald Knob always cracked me up when I passed on the highway... if I remember correctly it is near Possum Grape.

They don't have to sell, but they are reducing the price?  :shruggy:

The one I bought for 10k is worse of condition than that, so if it is as good as it looks on the pictures, then yes it is a deal

I live in Forrest City. And yes I believe Bald Knob is fairly close to Possum Grape  .  It isn't near Turkey scratch or Toadsuck however LOL

Any time the pics are shot from more than 20 feet away I get suspicious. If it's a 20-footer in person it's even worse when they're taking pics from that distance. I'd knock $500 off for every exclamation point used in the ad and then slap the guy for putting 1970 seats in it.

mpdlawdog

Unless you can check it out in person...stay away!  I bought one in fla that was a "nice driver"  It looked awsome in pictures...We drove all the way from ohio to fla.  The car was a total disaster (frame was gone in the back but he said his wife drove it to work everyday...must not have liked her that much....now I know why he did not send me the pics of the undercarriage)...anyway we turned right around and drove back without the car but got my money back!

Better to see it in person so you know what you are getting into.  Good price on it if it isnt a total bondo bucket.

Yeah I sent him a text asking for close up pictures of the trunk floor and frame rails and why if he says in the add the interior was redone  "top to bottom" it doesn't have the right seats.  Nothing so far

  :scratchchin: welp, that's not good,..
There's more red flags then a People's Army Jamboree...

"Very nice car! This is my baby!! I do not have to sell this car but want something different.. This car runs and drives great! Needs new paint job. It has the 7.3l 440 magnum. It originally had the 318 and 276 rearend. It is automatic type of transmission and rearend is dana 3.74. The interior has been completely redone top to bottom. I'm wanting 11000 firm.No low ballers or tire kickers!!!! Serious inquiries only!!!!

Obviously from the wording in the listing he's not a car guy and wanting to move on to a different car because this one is such a can 'o worms... the Radiator, Seats, Crappy photoshots & novice or actually misleading discription are all red flags to me.  :shruggy: unless you have the funds to turn this crappy clone into a personalized keeper, I'd keep saving and move on..  :pity:
What is a "Dana 3.74"? redid the interior top to bottom but needs paint? If it's his baby why he nearly drop the price  half wanting something else?..
