Hello guys, I saw a 68 Charger in EBAY
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1968-Dodge-Charger-440-SIX-PACK-4spd-BLK-BLK-BEAUTY-/140515142226?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item20b75aea52#v4-39

and the buckets like awsome, Does anybody know that seats are?
Thanks

Ghoste

I don't but I have to add that I like the way they have 68 style pleats in them.

Did you try E-mailing the seller? I'm curious also.

Looks like the back somewhat match so I'm going to guess that whatever they came out of both front and rear were cutom upholstered.

The case is that I am looking for new seats and I would like to upholster them just as those, but I would like knowing to that car belongs the frame since they do not seem too modern for the type of car that we have and I would like preserving the touch retro.

I will try to send to him a mail. Will he be a forum member?

Ghoste

Hard to say but if he is a Charger fan he is still one of us, I would hope he would be open to your question.

all he would tell me was that the seats were custom made. asked about if the rear was original, which im sure the frame is, and he said custom also. im sure the seats were covered in a shop, but still dont know what the originals came from.

i looked at the ebay add.... they kinda look like recovered ACURA CL seats because of the square headrest???
i was looking at them from my charger also, but they were electric compared to the RSX seats being manual.

Good grief! Did you notice how far back they go? The back of the console is even with the pivot point of the front seats.

I wonder if it's an original 4 speed? It could be one of those rare 383/2bbl/4spd cars.

I already asked...no reply yet.

I do like the seats, though.  :scratchchin:

So do I. Looks like it's got the padded door panels too. There's a lot of stuff I don't like about it though (six pack, pistol grip) but I would probably take it (for $30k). I'm a little surprised that the bidding has gotten as high as it has, especially without a single pic of the underside.

prob his friends bidding it up!!!
