Was wondering if you all think the NADA prices are about right for a 69R/T HP440 47,600.00 for a nicely restored model. I was thinking the price would be higher. Is it the economy that has the prices down. I see other cars like a 63 Impala SS going for a good price. Whats the deal?

A few years back they would have commanded higher prices........hopefully we'll see the value of these mopars increase again. I check NADA frequently regarding our 69 R/T and its valued about $51K after its recent resto based upon options etc. A nice 63 SS Impala is worth some coin and if its an OEM 409 4spd watch out........huge bucks!

You can go trade it off for a 70RT.Their worth about $3,000 more

NADA is just another opinion. One that it always seems is on the high side IMHO. Based upon my completely unprofessional and unscientific hours of perusing ebay, cragislist, and various other sites looking for a Charger, if you want 47 or even 51k for your good example r/t you are going to be waiting a long time for a buyer in this market.  :Twocents:

I'd say you are currently in the mid 30s. YMMV.    :popcrn:

I look at the old car price guide for reference as it breaks down the condition range a little better.  I've been watching my 69 Coronet R/T prices in NADA and its been on a slow decrease in there.
