Well here is my progress to date.   Unfortunatly this is all the further I will get untill this fall.  Its hard to work on a charger when your thousands of miles away from it for 6 months.

MOPARHOUND!

You may have another thread I didn't see, what work have you done?  The stripes, or?

Thanks for sharing.

Here is what I started with.

Here it was after much sanding and sweat on my part.

That's definite progress there, NICE!

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Oh and now for the bomb to drop....you guys remember the thread a while back where the guy talked about painting his car with a roller and rustoleum?   Well thats exactly what I did.  The color is called sunrise red.  which is pretty darn close to the original PP1 that was on it.  The stripe I eyeballed using a picture for rough estimates on stripe size and distance from end cap.  It was spray bombed on as was the black out portion of the tail panel.  The only thing I did  different from the description the fella listed was I had primer down first, he put his over bare metal.

ChargerAndy

You did that with a roller, a bucket of paint and some rattle cans??????  :2thumbs:  Look pretty good to me! Andy

The "cool" hubcaps are still on it.  If anyone wants to swap me a set of 15" magnum 500's or a set of torq thrust 2's, I would be open to offers   :icon_smile_big:
The rear mounted antenna didnt work and I wanted it to look stock anyhow so it went.   I also forgot to mention  that the finish you see is as the last coat laid down.  I havent wetsanded or buffed it yet.   people who have seen it in person are in disbelief that it was done the way it was.  they all think Im joking, even after I insist I am not.   I would do it all again too, the only thing that kind of sucks is the limited colors and the fact you cant do metalics.

I think the car looks great :2thumbs:, but since the hubcaps will pry off easily I dont mind saying this about them.... :puke:

I'll be dipped.  It won't be long now and the big resto shops will be buying roller brushes.  :o

Nice job man.  That didn't take you long to get that car whipped into shape.  Have you contacted the local club up there to see if any of it's member's have a set of wheels for sale.
I'll have 2-15 X 7 torq thrust D's for sale. :-\

Well those would work for the fronts but I would like to get the rears at the same time and I would like the rears to be 8's or so  I want to get 265's in the rear eventually 235's look good on the front but look way too narrow for the rear.
