New Dodge Charger Map site

In response to a post over on the site suggestions forum, I took it upon myself to create a Dodge Charger map site as a weekend project.  It's not the prettiest thing (building a site like this takes a lot of time and effort...I'll come back to it and make it better looking as time goes on), but it WORKS!  hahaha

You can post info about yourself and your car, add a picture of your ride, browse other Chargers on an interactive map, and maybe even check out some of the maps for some of the other most popular muscle cars.

www.musclecarmap.com/charger/

As of now the map has ONE car on it...mine!

And just a special note...please don't post the exact location of your car or where you live, right?  Picking your favorite cruise spot or local landmark is probably good enough for the purposes of this kind of thing.

Let me know what you think!

I managed to type through the map to git mine on there.. but the Map does partly cover the fields...

Added mine  I picked my location as the main intersection by my last house I lived in (I still live in the same city though)

Yes, the map does partially cover the Add car form if the screen is on the smaller side of the scale.  I'll see what I can do to adjust that.  Thanks for the feedback!

I visited a few other forums and the other muscle car maps are starting to fill in.  Chargers are just barely in the lead.  Followed by Mustangs and Chevelles.  LOL

Piston_Freddy

I posted this on the Challenger forum to.Some guys are having trouble with adding pictures. Can you delete them, so that they can add their car again with a pic?

I still see a lot of issues with the map,..  :shruggy:
the map still covers the info and so that unreadable. the list of cars off to the side is all charger this charger that and doesn't link to any particular car, the amount of white space is wasteful...
looks like it needs to be substantially tweaked.
A Great effort on your part though. Thanks!  :2thumbs:

I'd be happy to delete any map pins or manually upload/change pics of any specific car.  Just shoot me a PM or email @ defiant12@gmail.com.  I'm not sure which Challengers are having an issue, maybe all of them because there are no Challengers on the map!   :icon_smile_wink:

Thank you very much for the feedback and suggestions!  You're right, I have to tweak a few things to the add-a-car sidebar on the left to prevent it from getting covered by the map.  This is a particular problem when dealing with monitors or laptops with smaller sized screens.  I might be able to create a button that shows/hides the add-a-car sidebar as it's only needed when you want to add something.  Otherwise, it's just taking up space.

As for the list of cars on the right, hovering your mouse over the car names actually changes the marker pin on the map from a red marker to a green arrow, letting you know which car that is.  You'll have to then click on the pin on the map to open that car.

Lastly, I just changed the default map position and zoom level.  There are a few European cars on the map now and I think it's cool to include them on the initial view too!

Sorry I didn't mean that Challenger owners have problem specific.A guy from Switzerland didn't get a pic up and also a guy from under NY. On the Charger map that is.
Oh and it looks that half the case the engine is undefined? That might be a problem to of some sort?
