Right hand drive 70, what's the story?

Didn't want to start a discussion on the other thread so tell me, is this done in the states before export, or in Australia? How many were made? It's the first time I've ever seen a right hand drive 2nd gen charger. Interesting   :icon_smile:

We do have onebadsuperbirds.Blue69 daytona that was a US daytona.That got converted in Australia.And got bought and brought back into the US .And still remains a right hand drive

No under hood pics, maybe the owner has some. Some more exterior pics though on the "got a pic of your charger" thread.

The owner of that car is a member of the '70 site. I'm not sure if he's here yet, but here's an exterior shot. No Charger ever came from the factory with right hand drive. They were switched once they hit the shores of Aussy land.

I have seen pics of a '69 modded with the dash exactly like the first one pictured.

Yes im a member here been working on my car over the holidays nothing is different under the hood
inside under the dash their is a cross over shaft for the steering and brakes it would of been converted here when it arrived in 1970 I have to change the heater unit under the dash its a big job when i do this ill post a few pics of the conversion
