Lemme see if I got this straight here.....No GM 1 Wire Alternators for a Mopar, but an import (Nippendenso) is just peachy?
No "Pimp wheels, but "Lambo doors" are just cool?
No Small block Chevy engines in a Mopar, but a Mercedes (New Hemi) is ok?

ok, I think I got it...

LOL

just in case thats with me

I never have talked about any other alt than old Mopar but upgraded, or New Hemi engine... Nippodensos are not in my schedulle either

and yes, I don't think Lambo doors are totally bad... OF COURSE I wouldn't do it, but at least doesn't affect the correct look unless doors opened.
Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html

I think the second gens look like crap with lambo doors, and they don't open NEARLY wide enough, so they'd be a horrible pain to get in/out...

And I would've thought the 3rd gens were the same.

But strangely enough, those doors look like they give plenty of clearance to get in/out, and even stranger....... they really don't look bad imo.

The wheels look dumb, though.

(incidentally, I have a GM style alternator [stinger brand 150A] in my charger :P )

IMO its cool, but thats it, its all the owners taste! Its not quite "Africanized", more "Europeanized", But all in all I kinda like it. Don't think I would do it myself but customization is part of being the owner of a snazzy car like a Charger, you make it your own!   :Twocents:

I don't quite care for the size of the wheels however.   :rotz:

That is hideous.... unfortunately, it looks like it may be fairly local to me, as the second pic looks like it was taken in front of one of the Worcester Mass fire stations....   :P

I am a Mopar purist. Ghetto-izing Mopars, especially my beloved B bodies is just plain wrong. there is nothing European about this abomination. with all the Mopars that are being sold and shipped to Europe, we need to protect those that are left, so that they don't fall prey to this undignified end. In the area where I live, ghetto customizing cars seem popular with late 70, early 80 GM stuff, better them than us. It is just sick (old definition)

I see it alot with the 80s g-bodies and regals also. Not to mention once in a while a Tubo Buick which is sad. Another thing I see is people putting the wheel size on the window.....why?  Anyway here is a good one; makes me want a cheesburger:

Close, but I think the McDonalds car wins that award.

Come on Dan, we need a CCR donk episode. Buy a cheap car and snag some 26" rims. Jack up car by any means nessesary, install  huge wheels and finally put 28" sticker in all the windows (you always need to stretch the truth a little). I think were onto a hit show here.

Errr... I don't know. They already have that show "Are You Smarter Than a 6th Grader"... We could get into some copyright issues! :brickwall:
