I always wondered if perhaps someone pulled that off. I wonder no more. Three headlight and one tail fin just like the song says.

Thanks!

One piece at a time.

Lol well done Sherlock.
I guess what I meant was...  Are the body shells for those year models that similar that most of the bolt on stuff would pretty much line up?

:smilielol: I had to.

They are similar depending on model years. Like a '59-'64 or a '65-'68 etc. According to the info the car was built off of a '68 body so I would assume quite a bit of mods had to be made to get all of the stuff to fit togather.

Johnny Cash also said something about drilling holes and using an aydapter kit.

Ha, did anyone notice that it is a "3 door"? 2 door on one side and four door on the other? Funny, my dad had the only "3 door" 1956 Ford around. When his 2 door sedan was wrecked, hit in the side, he took it to a local bodyshop. They told him all they had was four doors for parts. ?He said "Fix it"...They did, and on the right side it was a 2door. On the left side, it was a four door...

PSSST, anybody notice the Vector wheels on the gold Caddy in the background?

Me too.  Never heard of it, thanks for the link.  When I think Johnny cash I think about the " Sue  " song.

I'm guessing you mean "A Boy named Sue" ?

That actually doesn't look half bad.

I would have thought it to look more like this.

Um... maybe that's where they got the original idea from for in the movie? :scratchchin:
