Hello everyone, I will attach a photo of my fender tag. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I hope the photo is clear enough.

Guys I hate to raise this thread from the dead but I have a question that I've wondered about for a while but never could find an answer to. I've seen 1973 Charger fender tags that give all the options that are included on that specific car but my fender tag leaves out most of the options that were on my car such as:

3 speed wipers, fender mounted blinkers, carpet color, type of radio, wheel cover type, console w/ wood grain, and a few other things that I can't think of right now.

Would there be any reason for this? I know what my car came with stock because, I luckily had the build sheet but if I had to go by the fender tag, a lot of stuff would have been an unknown to me. Any thoughts or input on this would be appreciated.

It sounds like what you are seeing may be the difference between a car built at Lynch Road (A plant) and St. Louis (G plant). St. Louis coded a lot more options on the tag than Lynch Road did. If your car was built at Lynch road, it will look pretty sparse.

Yeah, it was built at Lynch Road. That would be the explanation then. Thanks very much

Interesting, I didn't know that! Just looked through my tags and found some from a '73 from St Louis (G) what a difference!

One of the reasons why I rose this thread from the dead was because is because I was trying to order a new carpet for my car and the guys over at Legendary asked me for the carpet color code on my fender tag but as you guys can see, I don't have the code on there. E6L3 is the parchment trim code but what would be the code for a parchment carpet?

They are looking for the interior code as they should know which carpet goes with that interior trim.

The guy at Legendary sent me this message when I sent him a photo of my fender tag.

"Hello John,

Your trim code is E6L3, second line from the bottom – second grouping in. It is the two tone parchment color seat covers. It does not specify a carpet color.

Thank you

Chris"

Odd they wouldn't know the carpet color. You would think they would have charts that tell the carpet color for the interior code.

Exactly.

Thanks for posting that chart though

I noticed that the code for my car wasn't on that listing, could you post the whole page. (I can't view downloads with Firefox)

Or even better, is there a dedicated thread for decoding fender tags? I just pulled the engine out of mine and chose to take off the fender tag for safe keeping.

You'll find what you are looking for in the 73 Dodge Color and Trim book in the Hamtramck Historical library.
