"Chevrolet is estimating that its supercharged and intercooled 6.2-liter LSA V8 engine will put out around 550 horsepower and 550 pound-feet of torque. Those ponies will be sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission using a dual-disc clutch that's necessary to properly harness all those horses". I wonder what the sticker price will be.

Powerful car, but like with the Charger I wish they would do something, anything, different with the grille. :Twocents:
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Way more better than new Charger that is so big disappointment that I can´t even think about it  :RantExplode:

But new Challenger is so much better than that new Camaro  :2thumbs: I wish I someday have opportunity to buy that new Challenger  :drool5: My Charger´s ex owner bought new Challenger, that is the reason why He sold this Charger, lucky me  :icon_smile_wink: I would´t never trade my old Charger to new Challenger even it is very vey nice  :2thumbs:

It is a ride worth owning, just not with my money.

I don't know... I'm down with the muscle revival and the numbers are impressive.  They're not entirely devoid of cool.  But I think Chevy tried too hard.  They look to me like they were shat out of a Cylon base ship.

It still looks like a tank to me......I'll take a 69 ZL-1 though!

Too much Cadillac in that front end...No matter how hard they try, the very definition of "Musclecar" is an AFFORDABLE car for the masses, that simply has a monster engine...try again boys, thanks for playing, but I have better things to spend my $70K on...

I'm just not feelin' it- I clicked on the link expecting something way beyond stock,.. So what?..  some boxes in the lower front facia?.  :P
For that amount of coin I'd build up my own Phase III Baldwin Style Vette..

Don't really like the grill and I still have a bad taste in my mouth from GM after the past several late model GMs I have owned have all suffered from premature mechanical failures.

But as far as new cars go, I am digging the new 2011, 470HP, SRT 392 Challenger. :2thumbs:

Who was it here at DC.com who said new GM Car's (including the Camaro) had that "Angry Kitchen appliance" look?
I thought that was pretty funny and summed up the look well I think it's ok but would take the new Challenger anyday!

Brock Samson

according to a search June '07 was the first mention of "Angry Kitchen Appliance" http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,29887.0.html
But I'm sure I read it a few years prior in relation to some japanese car or other...

71charger_fan

It's still an ugly car. I have no desire to own one. Not that I wouldn't want to drive someone else's.
