Once again hello to all. I have a 70 Charger R/T that I would like to use Stock Car aero mods on. I would like to know if anyone here can tell me what angle, dimensions and location the front spoiler should be installed at and how tall and what angle the rear spoiler should be at ? I have read many of the factory bulletins on the aerowarriors site but the bulletins are kind of vague. I would like to take advantage of all the work Chrysler and the Stock Car builders did and put everything on correctly to get the advantage they can provide. I don't want to install things just for looks. What do you guys think ? If you see this thanks for the info Gary.

Assuming you want a spoiler for your stock body 1970 Charger, it is just a simple aluminum blade on the front.   There are no mounting details anywhere, so it is going to be a case of what looks right, is right.   Most teams did their own thing.  Some cars did not run them on the back.   Some cars have a three dimensional spoiler riveted to the top and the back of the decklid like the Fords ran.   Others have a simple blade mounted to the back of the decklid sticking up about one inch.    There is no set standard and things varied from team to team.

Most 1970 Chargers did not run on long tracks even in 1971, so the aero treatment wasn't as big of a deal as it was with the 1969 cars.

Thanks for the reply. The stuff I read in the Chrysler engineering papers talked about various front spoiler locations and I think angles along with the rear spoiler in testing at I believe Daytona on the 68 Chargers. The different testing revealed the right combo for front and rear down force for high speed stability. I was hoping to find out the tricks used on 68,69,70 Chargers. I have found and saved a good number of pics for future reference but none show much detail. I found this on aerowarriors. It is the best pic so far.
