Hey guys/gals, I just picked up 4 magnum 500's really cheap and was wondering what a good tire size is.  I've searched the forum and alot of guys are concerned about the MAX size.  My '71 is a 318 so I'm not looking for huge, I just want to know what a good size is.  2 of the rims are 14/5.5 and the other 2 are 14/6.  I'd like to get some BFG's and make sure everything fits on my 71 with disc front and drum rear.
I'm thinking 205/70/14 up front
and 215/70/14 in the rear.
How's that sound???

I'd go to the Tire Rack website, pick your tire size and check under "specs" for the recommended rim width.

The 14's should fit the disc front since that's what they came with but the disc rears are a maybe.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
