Ok, myself and a friend of mine were talking this past weekend about a currently avail reproduction part he purchased to replace his damaged original. And it got me thinking and now I'm curious.
Part in question really doesn't matter other than it's a visible engine compartment part  that fits and applies to a fairly large year +  model lineup.

Ok, said part is nice, but slightly wrong in appearence , drastically wrong in material being used which actually accentuates the appearence part of it.

So, that said. What is a fair value to place on a like part to have it either A- dead on or B - as close as humanly possibly with todays materials ?
10% , 25% ? or just the exact same price as the wrong one ?

Bill, as with anything else, it should be priced to cover production and profit. IF, after that, you can bring it in at the same price as the incorrect one, then modest (5-7-10%) premium for the correct one is probably appropriate. This would give you some wiggle room should the other one drop in price. :Twocents:

(Whacha got goin??? ;))
