I'm washed the '68 in preparation for MATS (no, really...well, O.K., I needed to apply another coat of polish on it so... :icon_smile_wink:) and I'd thought I'd post a few photos. Sigh...I really love my car. The looks are timeless.... I hope you eastern DC.com'ers are surviving the blizzards. I wish you warmer days soon.

Alas, no. It is how I envision the car to be, though.

No we are not surviving up here in the cold North East thank you.  Your car is so beautiful.  :drool5:
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Nah, I think I'll just take it for a spin to The Home Depot. I need a few items for the yard....   :icon_smile_wink:

So how about more pics of that 73.

Maybe later...it really needs a wash and a wax to be presentable. But it is a survivor car as the original owner was my wife's sister's husband's father. All original.

Looks great!

Don't forget to feel sorry for us Midwest guys. It was a nice 30 degree day here so I hauled in more firewood and finished a little more clean up on the snow from 2 days ago. Supposed to get back down to -12 or so in a couple days.  :eek2:

I got a good laugh out of this post! ALL of us "snow cats" wish we could have some of that heat! Another reason I chuckle is that 3 weeks ago, I finally picked up my Charger(project), and when we started the truck that morning, it was 24* below zero, but Januray can be like that in Wisconsin!!! I told my buddy, that IF I EVER decide to go get a car again, when there is ANY snow on the ground, JUST SAY NO!
We made it, and the "project charger" is safely tucked in the garage, awaiting warmer weather, so the work can begin!
All you guys(and gals) that can take your "legends" out for a drive.............do it for ALL of us that can't!
Thanks, and best tire smoking wishes to you all!
Jason.
