How is the weather at this show.
August is usually a blast furnace in my area.  Around 110+

I would like to make the trip someday if its not miserable

Dodge Don

In August you are likely around the 79-85 degree mark.

I've been going every year for the past 6 years.  I don't ever remember being that warm.
Last year cool and rain both days.  Great show.
You havent SEEN heat until you've gone to Carlisle Mopar Nats.  Last year was triple digits.
But, best show of anyof them.

ChgrSteve67

Decisions Decisions

The road trip this year will tell me if the wife will ever go on another on with me.
I know I would not want to spend 3 weeks trapped in a car with me.

Steveo this could have been the year for the big triple combo June (Michigan WPC show)
                                                                                   July  (Carlisle)
                                                                                   August (Moparfest)

3 shows three months......?......you do have a bed in that trailer of yours don't you ?

I would just stay with you and Bob between shows.
Do a little computer work on the side to pick up some extra cash.

Maybe when I hit the Lottery.

Brads70

I'll be there again this year! Sure is a lot closer than Carlisle ! :icon_smile_big: ( which I'm also going to again, with the car this year if all goes well)

BBKNARF

Sorry I didn't get to meet up with you Don and the rest of you, we stayed only 2 1/2 hours at the show a friend of mine had sharp pain in his stomach he wanted to go home on the way home it got worse so I mentioned to him I should take you to the hospital, several hours later he had kidney stones.
I hope you enjoyed the show, hope to see you next time.

I wondered what happened to you Frank. Wow good thing you took him to the hospital.

I've said it before but this is getting insane...they have got to move this show to a bigger location! Last year they had 1600 cars but this year they were crammed in everywhere. The place can't hold the growth.

BBKNARF

Thanks for sharing the videos and pics. You left pretty early in the morning which is a good thing, no traffic. We got there at 9:40am and it was bumper to bumper approx 1 mile long of classic cars only getting into the fairgrounds.

I heard "hey Don"...a looked and saw a red first gen Charger...waved not knowing who I was waving at and by the time I reached the end of the isle it dawned on me that it was probably ODZKing. Sorry...was trying to beat the weather. Got the car home and 30 minutes later it poured.

It is even in the video I was filming as we exited Moparfest.... :2thumbs:

RIDELIKEHELL

Great to alk to you and Nick Don! Bummed we didn't get to meet the others :( Maybe next year when I'm driving my 68 there :2thumbs: I wondered if you were going to cut out early Don as the rain stared by our place as soon as I got home. Car looks great! Cheers Guys

Marc

Oh ya it is getting to big for that venue I agree...they should move it to Sarnia where we have awesome waterfront parks to acoomodate all

Just saw the results on the Moparfest website.

Last year they had 1,596 show cars (and it was packed)....this year they had 1,713 show cars and 23,046 spectators (and it was beyond packed!).

They can't keep holding it at that location if they want to continue growing.

They Can't and shouldn't move it to Toronto, It's a Locally run Charity Event , Toronto is not a Car Town...SAD but true. It would surly spell the demise of Moparfest.
I'm sure the Attendance and Volume that Moparfest is seeing is a hot topic with those involved and I'm sure they will come up with a solution.

We pulled in at 9:00 after a 30-45 min.  lineup, The place was at almost full capacity by 10:30, I've never seen it fill up that quick.

You Gotta Hand it to the Organizers, For a Non Profit Show, All proceeds to Charity ! They put on one heck of a show ! And Great Prizes too !

Great Show
