no pics, but I put a Dart GTS hood on the B5's roof after I bought it.  It was up there for a 100mi ride home.

Interesting, but it seems to defeat the whole "aero" concept.  ;)

Not an Aero Car... but the T/A hood did lift off and fly in a tight tethered formation about 3-4 inches above the roof with the Charger.

HA!

I'm younger, and therefore used cheap Chinese ratchet straps.  no launch here!

A couple years ago I was at a show about 100mi from home, and my friend (best friend, mind you) bought a '73 Charger decklid because he thought I could drive home with it in the trunk of the B5 car.  We stuffed it in sideways, tied down the decklid, and thought we were pretty smart.  Well, we weren't a mile down the road before the backdraft from the exhaust system was making our eyes water.  We took the event T shirts, an old blanket and more tape to the trunk, trying to seal it.  Not a chance.  We figured out that we had to ride home with the windows shut and the fresh air vents closed to keep the fumes at a tolerable level.  It must have been 85 that day, and we were NOT happy to be in a B5 car with a black top and black seats!

Two Charger fenders apparently can be carried in... (more or less "in") a Charger
