Hi again, Let me tell you a short story of my car:
The dodge was in the parking lot for 9 years and last year I successfully managed to take it out of there.
The car was pretty damaged in the parking lot for example:  all of the emblems and front &rear lights and the windows are either gone or broken. In the engine parts the carburetor was gone and they put a stopper on it.
When I brought the car in front of the house the first thing I needed to do was to cleaning the car of the garbage in it. After the cleaning then the things that were broken showed their broken parts.
Now it was time to start the engine to see that would it even start or won't it. I hardly found a carter carburetor and installed it on the car. I filled the radiator with water and found out that the bonnets exploded and the radiator was damaged also.
I brought the car to a mechanic and   we took the engine out and replaced the bonnets and repaired the radiator. We acid washed the engine block and repaired the clutch and reinstalled the engine.
The brake systems were completely replaced.
We started the car and it was running I drove it around square and I can say it has no mechanical issues.
I returned it home and I didn't start collecting appearance parts because it is not available in Iran I must make it on my own or buy it from another country and bring it here for a very expensive fee. And I have no money to buy and bring here and inevitable I must build something like it in here.
What do you offer me to do and where to begin?????

A pair of crude switch, and a tent that I bought the car for you gonna see photos

Hey Yasha.
You will have to do what a lot of us who aren't in The United States have had to do.
That includes searching US Ebay as well as places like this forum for parts that you need.
Postage doesn't always have to be expensive either.

I built my Charger 1 piece at a time as I could afford it, and I didn't even know about this forum at the time.
Ebay can be your friend sometimes.
Gotta love a '69

Great work Yasha.

Can you receive parts directly from the United States? I can not help with parts for your car, but some members may have extras or find cars nearby with usable parts.

Is a pilot light mounted on dash to let you know you are in reverse instead some forward gear. On 3rd gens mounts between the ashtray and glovebox

LOL...

I can't understand sometimes the international shipping deal or "problem".

:shruggy:

Not talking about you, but with lot of sellers around.

Shipp international is THE SAME than an internal ship, just expensive and extra delivery time ( from 2 weeks up to 1 month ) what anyway buyer is paying and waiting. Need to declare the value for the customhouse and fees payment by who is getting the package and done. That's the only extra step, what is not really an step, just an extra form to fill

you simply get the quote, say to buyer, if agreed, get the payment of the item and shipping and VOILA, deliver to the postal office to be shipped as any other package on any other deal inside USA

It's easy at this end, just fill out a Customs declaration and pay the postage...the issue is with sending to Iran. I know that you can't send U.S. mail to Afghanistan, for instance, without going through Dubai or Pakistan. I have to go inside the post office tomorrow anyway, I'll ask about it.
