G'day all you Charger nuts out there!

I am in need of some help.

I have 14" Jelly bean (slots) rims. The back wheels are very wide (10" at a guess). They both have different size tires, one of which doesn't have the size on it (  :brickwall: ). The tire has written on the side wall - SUPER STAR G50-14. I can't find any info on this brand. The tread width measures to almost 300mm (12"), and is the size I am after. Only trouble is, no one Down Under makes this width tire (or one even close for that matter) for a 14" rim.

Can any one tell me if I can still get extremely wide tire to fit a 14" rim (and what manufacturer makes them)?

A quick google found some oldies for sale in Seattle: http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/pts/2175251031.html

I'd have my doubts about using a tire that is about 30-35 years old. And you really got to want them, the shipping would be an insane price.

Try these folks (USA): Tire Rack 888-541-1777 and Coker Tire 423-648-8560 (the Coker # said it was for outside the US). Coker prides themselves on vintage tire availability, and have a great reputation.

I've gone through the same thing with my slots and ended up going to 15" wheels because of it. I had 14x10s and there is simply no new radial out there for them. Your only option for that size is the Mickey Thompson Indy Profile, but that is a bias ply . . .

Can you get 15" slots?

I like the slots rims, it will suit the look I am going for

Yeah, you can find them in 15". The slots on my car now are 15x8.5 back and 15x7 front. They are more desirable and thus more expensive than 14s.

EDIT: Almost forgot, now you can certainly find some 15s, though probably lots more expensive than buying used: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,77286.0.html

Then again I forgot you were outside the US
