Where's the best place to buy a reproduction dash pad? Has anyone used one from PG Classics? I have used the slip on covers, they lasted from 7 years to one year. Now I need to re-do the job with a decent complete pad.

Be&A/PG Classic (same manufacturer) are the only ones making them (as far as I know) so anyone else is selling theirs. Depending on the part, PG sells theirs a bit cheaper since they don't carry Mopar licensed parts. They look nice and are cheaper than a nice original (if you can find one).

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Thanks for the help. Much appreciated. I've been deep in the Mopar hobby for 51 years and help lots of others. Once in a while I still need help, though. Nobody knows it all!!!!

I actually drove the 4000 miles to PG Classics and picked up my dash pad. It is now in the car and fits and looks as good as an original part. Peter Gee was very accommodating and gave me a tour of the warehouse. Good people to deal with IMHO.
I see I have to update my profile.... the Charger now runs in the 11's and gets 25 MPG due to some engine upgrades last winter.

Well that got my attention!  How'd you do that?
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

any problems with customs?

None, of course, as I live in Canada and PG is in Canada. I was on an 11,000 mile holiday from one coast to the other and was going by his place anyway.

It was a cam and head upgrade as well as a little trick with the Six Pack carbs. Maybe I should post the details in the engine forum? I don't mind sharing the science, but it's not a short story.

Yes, you should share it.  Put it up in the performance forum and it'll be a nice tutorial. :2thumbs:

Got mine from BEA. The dash looks great and fit was acceptable.
