I don't care if chromed, black, polished or natural ( I would go If I do, with natural anyway, or maybe polished )... just want to see it, since all pics I have found are just referential pics

Better if the regular one, not the "one wire" alt, although a one wire alt is really the same regular alt with a mounted on regulator

Please...

I'm trying to discover is the 100 amps alt looks like this:

or like this:

dunno if you note the difference, and is not the pulley

Mine is the 3 wire...i'm using a 70's style electronic voltage regulator.  :2thumbs:

It's a "squareback" and i have March billet brackets and a serpentine pulley pressed on the alternator. It puts out lots of juice at idle (1050rpm) for my electric fan and electric fuel pump.  :icon_smile_big:

failed my guess LOL

ok... both are squarebacks, but wondering about how it looks. If you see in between both housings, one it has the stator magnet visible like a sandwich with housings... the other one doesn't shows the stator magnet, since is inside the more later kind housing

how does look your one ?

OOOOH YES... EXPOSED STATOR!!!

thanks a lot!

that's then the 7509RCPDP ? right ? or maybe 7509RCPSP if you got initialy single pulley

that would be the alt I would get but V belt, double.

:D

It did come with output specs chart ?

Natcho, i didn't get an output spec sheet, unfortunately. I can tell you that with the Mallory 250 Electric fuel pump, MSD 6AL & the big electric fan it's showing 13.2V at idle as measured on the positive battery terminal. I have an AGM Odyssey battery (1500CCA) and an electronic VR like yours and it seems to work fine.  :2thumbs:

Ok... I'm contacting to Tuff stuff crew for more specs... they told me 45 amps at iddle, BUT didn't tell me iddle RPMS they spec. I'm wishing 55-60 amps at iddle thinking on around 800 Rpms on engine ( with A/C and geared)

these vendors says for example 45 amps at iddle, setting idddle at 600 Rpms
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130461747725&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
and that would be nice raising up to 800 RPMs... but pricey

Oh God... If SOMEBODY sells me internals!!!... Quick Start ppl is out of stock

If somebody knows about a vendor selling the 7509RCPDP on $120 rate shipped please let me know

This is the best I found and I was allmost ready to check out, but then, found $8 on handling fees going above $130, and I can't proceed

otherwise I could get this but will change the housings myself for the cast ones

but from this vendor
