Not an advocate of street racing anymore but I always thought that portable tree idea was a good one.  We just never did it.  A flag or a flashlight was all we ever really used here in Mayberry.

  Thanks for sharin' Bull.   My grandfather used to have a 66 falcon with a 200 cid 6cyl and 3 on the tree(the car I learned to drive in)....the car had on 45k on it when it got sold.....imagine that!
