Slots! Hell yeah! And they actually look like their ancestors! AR didn't do the Ansen Sprints good . . . They just don't look right!

471_Magnum

Multiple offsets too. SWEET!

Might have to trade in my Centerline Telstars on the Roadrunner.

These looking sweet.  :icon_smile_cool:

I was looking into the AR Ansens that summit sells for Sinnamon...   I was was looking to go up to 17"s but they don't make them any  wider than 8".    At least these 15"s go up to 9" wide.   Decisions, decisions.

Got lots of time to think about it yet.

No 15x10 though?

That's one thing I was thinking. It would have been cool for them to make a 15x10 in the 5-5.5" backspacing we need. But, the 15x9 with a 5" BS is a good compromise!

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

paironines

Cool. I wonder what the difference is between the polished and diamond cut series?

Ghoste

Yeah, I don't recall ever hearing that "diamond cut" term before.  My guess is that its just a satin type of finish.

Ahh! the good old days are here again, N-50s baby, well maybe not that size. J.C. Penny do not sale 12 volt air compressers anymore. Just looking through an M.C.R. mag the other day, thinking how it would be nice to get some slots, if you could find the right style.  :2thumbs:.

greenpigs

Some skinny rims like 4 inch wide would be nice for the drag crowd that want the retro look.

Diamond cut is just as-machined, leaving the lathe tool marks. Looks cool and period correct, but it's a difficult surface to maintain.

Talk about being late to the party. :slap: There's been a market for these wheels for the past 20-some years. I'm glad they finally woke up.

Ghoste

Is it more diffficult to maintain than the polished version?

Darkman

Cha-ching!

This will make putting disc brakes on even easier!

Now to convince them into making 15x10  :drool5:
Make it idiot proof, and somebody will make a better idiot!

The diamond cut will look fresh longer, but never as shiney as polished. When the time comes to polish, they can be a real b*tch. It will depend on how fine or course the finish is. Think of it like cleaning the surface of a vinyl LP record.

My 1st instinct was to say that the raw diamond cut would be the way to go, but now that I think about it I think the polished would be a better looking slot.

General_01

I would like the polished better, but they only offer the polished in 15x7's. Everything else looks to be the Diamond Cut. :rotz:

I am sure you could find someone to polish the rims if your not able to do it. Might take some large polishing wheels & may be cheaper to farm out.
