When the weather is cold and crappy :cryin: and the Chargers' in storage, there is only one thing that could soothe the mopar cravings, "Shopping for parts :boogie: :boogie: :boogie:" I ordered a carb, throttle cable and gaskets from Mancini just recently with the extra cash I get working on the side. You know, "Pay As You Go" rule of thumb, (or loosely translated by said wife, Sure you can buy those things as long as you make extra $ on the side :eyes: :eyes:) Anyways, because I live here in Canada, I get most of my stuff delivered to a U.P.S. store not far from here just across the border. This way I just cross over and pick up my parts and save on brokerage fees which are the biggest tax grab here :RantExplode: Unfortunately, Mancini sent the parts directly to my home address and not the U.P.S. store that I told them to send. Gave them a call and explained that I was slapped with the extra fee that I try to avoid by shipping to the States and the sales rep immediately apologized for their mistake and offered to cover the brokerage fees. Now that's called good customer relations :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs: Can't wait to slap on the new carb this spring. Anyone looking for a great deal on a 750 vaccum sec. race carb, this one would be hard to beat.

It is good to hear that someone still has some sort of customer relations & glad to see that they will be refunded the extra fee to you.
Sorry, but I have never had any good dealings with them. I know there are the one stop shop for the Mopar guys but...... I am local & probably been there over 20 times in just as many years for my stuff & with buddies for their stuff. Takes over an hour to get in & out of there on a good day. They never have what you need in stock & has to be ordered. There prices are always on the high side. I work at a race shop, so I am W.D. or better with most everyone they are ordering parts from anyway, so I save a ton by going direct & sometimes even get frebbies since its for me.

It's unfortunate that you had a bad experience with them 6pkrtse, maybe luck of the draw or something. Don't know :shruggy:. Didn't want to gloat or something like that :rotz:. But anyways, here is a challenge to firefighter Ron . I bet you cant' help me dial in this new carb with the distributor on my car :nana: Up for grabs is a case of cold Keiths. I win, you help me with the car and I drink the other half of the case. I loose, I drink the opposite half with you and you could tell me how wrong I was. Sounds like a good deal to me

I am glad to hear others have had good experiences with them. I just ordered everything direct & have it shipped to my work for a whole lot less $$$. I just tried Mancini again a couple of weeks ago for the heck of it at a local swap meet. I figured what the heck, they are here, I am here & I actually have cash since I sold alot of stuff at the swap meet. I Asked for 4 different things for 2 of my cars. Only had 1 of the 4 items available. I specifically said "E" Body Cal-Tracs with a 1" Doctor Diff relocation kit. They gave me "A"Body with the incorrect segment length. I even had them double check it in their flyer. Wrong again!!! That was the final last straw. I called Cal-Trac direct & they set me the correct length segment bars at no Charge. So Cudo's to Cal-Trac..... No More Mancini for me ever.
