A383Wing

would be cool if it came with all the artillery like in the movie..  :D

This one must be the "glamour car", because I swear that in the movie, it had to have logged at least one whole mile...if not more. ;D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I always loved that Batmobile.  There's sort of a subtle perversity about the shaping of it.

They were made from early 70s Impala frames with the wheelbase stretched about 20 inches.  They had SBC motors behind the jet intake nose.

The finish was flat black in the movie footage itself but everyone remembers these cars being glossy.  They are always painted glossy when you see them in person anywhere.

They made a few more of them for Batman amusement park ride props and other publicity usage in the mid-1990s.  The body molds were changed to narrow the rear fenders by about 4 inches on each side.  Apparently the original movie version was just a bit too wide to roll onto standard commercial trailers & stuff and it proved to be a real PITA.

I'd rather have the one from the Dark Knight movie!   :yesnod:

I agree. It has the shape of a stretched customized 80s corvette. While it maybe creative, it sure lacks that "I want to have one" factor. It proportions are way over done, it doesn't look fast, looks like it would handle as good as a school bus, and the tires and rims look like they belong on a truck......just my :Twocents:
