This was my parents family car back in the day. A dream of mine is to own one like this one day. I just thought I'd ask the membership here if they knew what year and model Chevy this was. Thanks.

1956 Chevrolet .....I don't think it's a Bel-Air...could be a 270 model...it's not a Nomad...those only had 2 doors and a lot more chrome trim

Yep, 56.  I had a 57 Nomad for my high school car.  :2thumbs:
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Yup, 56 210 wagon.  As a contrast to see the differences between the regular wagons and the Nomads, here's my 56 Nomad.  The sloped tailgate and particularly the 56 with the dogleg paint divider trim below the B-pillar, in my opinion, make this the best looking wagon hands down.  They are defenite attention getters! :icon_smile_big:

Cheers

Nope.  The guy I sold it to offered it back to me about 10 years ago for 4,000.00.  By this time it had sat outside a lot and he had a smashed fender and re did my original interior in roll and pleat etc... I looked at it and it was just a been there done that feeling and past on the deal.

My Father had a '55 Carpenter's Wagon for a long time.  It sat in the backyard forever until one of the neighbor's complained to the city.  I forget the reasoning but the ol' man sold it shortly after.

He still has his '55 210 Sedan.  I grinded on inner fenders back when he was restoring it.

He couldn't put the carpenter's wagon in the garage since it was occupied by his 1 of 116 1961 Chevy Impala SS vert 348 3 deuce, 4 gear.
