Well, if you can read what he wrote and look at the photos, then you will know what this post is about  ::)

But for those of you that doesn't get it, let me point you in the direction. Johnny Five said the thread title in the film as in "malfunction... need input" which is also what Joey said, and if you look at the photos that Joey posted it's a toy robot of Johnny Five the way he looked in the film in which film he also mention the quote in. Now if that to hard for you to understand.. probably is.

WTF is this post about?

But it's so obvious... It's time to post your strange robot pictures.

I did not realize the movie was that popular which created a need for a limited edition Johnny 5.

Thank you Captain Obvious, of the S.S. Apparent.

Still doesn't answer the question of what hell is going on here.  Why would he post this?  Why do we care?  What is the point?  Is there some sort of relevance that we're missing?

(Let me know if you need me to explain all that.)

Well for your info, he did post it in the None car area, and I wasn't aware that anyone needed a reason to post a thread on the forum here. It also appears to me that some of you also love picking on the guy as well when he post's. I agree he should have posted this in the other area where it states "model" at as this is a model or maybe an action figure? But it clear to me what he said and what he posted, I have no idea why some of you are having a hard time at it for or saying "WTF" either. He is talking about a movie.. just like you and I all do in the charger area of the forum here like Dirty Mary Crazy Larry, Bullett, and all those charger movies. He on the other hand is talking about a movie that doesn't involve chargers but he did kinda get the wrong area to post it in though.

BTW, your very welcome. But I'm not Captain Obvious though... I thought you was.  :smilielol:

Not everyone knows what the hell Malfunction, need input!" - Johnny Five, Short Circuit 1986 is all about. But since some are into toys more than the real thing it makes more sense to them  ::)

Heck, I only seen the film like maaybe 5 times, and yet I caught on to the quote real fast. Just so you know, when I did watch the films back in the day, I didn't 100% pay attention to them either and yet I knew last night what he was talking about.

I'm not a Johnny 5 fan ever since he went postal.

Or the robot equivalent of postal, whatever that might be.

You take Five if you want him. If I'm getting a robot I'll take Six or Seven.

So that's the robot that Joey said he was going to buy. Somehow not what I pictured.

Howz Bout Dis Robotty Kinda Chic?

She'd probably kill you in your sleep. But then a real one might too.

The big difference though, would be that the robot chic would have a logical reason that was systematically chosen. A woman might only need the way you breathe while you sleep as an excuse.

It's now up to $2500 nice considering it's broken and missing pieces:

I've often wished I had collected a bunch of this kind of uselass crap over the years so I could sell it to geeks with stupid amounts of their parent's/grandparent's money. I would consider it an honorable task to take their money and use it for something meaningful.
