does any one know if there is a company out there that makes inserts to make my 1972 doors into ralleye doors you would have to cut a hole and weld in the piece with the indents on them rather than buying ralleye doors if not does anyone know where i can buy 1972 ralleye doorskins?i have seen where you can vut a hole in cuda fenders and put in gills to look like 71 fenders the door deal i am looking for would be on the same line ?

No one makes em, either find a set of rallye doors that are shot but have good inserts or if you look around the forum, theres a member that made them himself  :2thumbs:

There is a thread that indicates that these are being developed now at AMD  for our cars.... http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php?topic=75100.0

hope they get here before I go to paint.

Yea, i saw that add too...Kinda makes the real 72 Rallye doors worth less by doing this.

Yeah.....  it does  "adjust" the price of original doors  since it opens up a whole new market. There will always be someone like myself who likes the 71 R/T doors or 72 Rallye doors but cannot afford the real deal.

Same thing has happened to a lot of the hard to find  /  high demand items that people have held on to for a variety of cars. All of the sudden, the demand  is still high, but now we have options.  There are of course instances where only NOS would do do for some folks or for some really high dollar restorations.  And, sometimes the aftermarket quality can be lacking in some areas.  But overall, it is a good thing. Anyything that gets us spending money  for our cars supports the vendors that have to out  put up the money to make them in the first place. :2thumbs:
