has any of you had a problem with a dip in the nose right above the drivers head light cover? its 3/16" below the nose? any suggestions? other than some fiberglass and bondo.

I have noticed this on every janak headlight door i see(drivers side).  but to be honest curve is not the same from left door to right door. must be an issue with his left mold. I added some to top and sanded off bottom if memory serves me correctly makes it better. :Twocents:
I'm Bored! what to do next......

Thinking might have been the complete opposite! added to bottom and sanded top to make curve match right side..... :icon_smile_tongue:

DAY CLONA

Another problem with the Janak Daytona nose is the passenger side lower section of the cone hangs past the lower valance,...considerably

it appears that there are a number of issues with janak's parts that alot of you guys have had. thats unfortunate, when talking to ted about the ?'s i had concerning nose/headlight bucket assembly he was certainly more willing to talk to me when i was wanting to order from him than bringing up bracket ?'s that he sent that he didn't know. go figure! don't get me wrong, i think he makes good parts but he sure wouldn't make it in retail having to deal with the public.  i guess thats why he's a builder. thanks for the responces

i do not know Janak or ever bought his parts but i hear they are decent.

when i was trying to figure out how to build a daytona (research) . i had no idea about how the lights operated, mounting the nose or the plug. i called Janak and asked him some questions ., all his answers were "buy that part from me and i'll explain it to you".

i called Jack McGaughey and i couldn't get him off the phone . he explained things to me and we talked about wing cars . he was an excellent guy . scared me a little with the price's but i know his stuff is worth it .

i could afford Janak stuff but after i talked to him . there was no way i would through him my cash .

he might be a hell of a guy i don't know . i'm just sharing my experience . Rene
