Well everyone, i know it's been a long long while since i've been on here. After suffering from Charger breakdown a couple years back i packed up my baby and put her in the shop, not to be bothered until the other day! I had a blow up with they guy who did my body work because the paint he put on sucked...the body work was great just a really half ass paint job.
Anyway long story short i was sick of messing with it so i put it up. Fast forwards to now, my career is going pretty good, survived the rough economy with my job and house intact, and started a family. I'm now the proud father of a 10 month old boy!
I want to start working on the charger again, but i need some assistance in the wiring department. Before i stopped working on her i pulled the dash out and gutted all of the wiring, got my new harnesses from year one, and marked where all of my conections go, took probably a hundred pictures of how things went together...BUT in the shuffle of life, most all of the tape i used to mark where wires went dried up and fell off, and the camera with the pictures on it is sitting in the bottom of bourbon county lake after a fishing incident...so i need AS MUCH INFO as possible....pictures are great, how to run the wires through the dash, where the connections hook up to everything else etc. The car has a rallye dash w/out tach, r/t tail lights, and hideway headlights. i understand the harness for the hideaway's is separate from the rest of the harness, so i'm going to tackle that later. Right now all i want is my gauges and all the lights to work, and the car to start and run. I'll iron out things like the hideaways later. I have a 1971 Service manual on cd already, what else should i invest in?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated! It feels good to be back! I probably won't be able to get on quite as often as i used to but i will be around!

Thanks Everyone!

BTW the car is a 1972!
Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....

You should be able to figure out where the wires go pretty easily. The diagrams are marked with the wire color.,except for the dash lights(on my 69 anyway) they should have different connectors on most(I AM NOT AN EXPERT). Haven't even thought about routing yet but, that's why all these other guys are here. :icon_smile_big: Good luck and congrats on the dad thing(don't have more)
God must love stupid people....he made a sh**load of 'em....

Matco tools...guaranteed for a lifetime. Just not a human lifetime.
