And speaking of "Color Me Gone" Chargers, here is a 68?

I think it's a 68 anyway, hard to tell on my laptop screen.  In any case it's a 2nd gen Charger and I never knew he had one.

Awesome!
Any others?
I found a couple of other pics last net but nothing that showed enough to determine whether he was trying to portray a 68 or a 69 with the car.

The one shown above with CHARGER painted across the front  with no grille is the 1969 season Mini-charger.  It's about a 90% scale car in dimensions wise.  And every pic I've seen of this car has a 500 style rear glass in  it, but it's not  a full scale car either compared to the earlier version.

Roger Lindamood also had an altered wheel base 66/67 body style charger as well.
Prior to that he was running an AFX 1965 Dodge , which replaced a 1964 Dodge.
when he went to the 66-67 charger flopper, I believe the AFX 65 was sold to and became the Mr Norm car

This is the 1968 which is a full scale body. And every pic I've seen of it, it has the normal tunneled back glass.

Ft shot of the CMG 1968 car. I've never seen any pics of this car with anything but  a 1968 grille. So I can only assume he only ran this car one season.

I have the orignal MPC model of this car,   and one of these days I plan to build it.

At the first year of Carlisle there was a 90% flopper body with the 500 rear window, and frame with it in primer. The owner was asking 3K for it. Must have sold as I never saw it again.

True Bill - Mr. Norm got his AWB from Roger.

I thought so. And I also believe this is the only one of the original AMBELWAGON built cars  that remains unaccounted for. With the original Leal car being on the known destroyed cars list.

While we're on the subject, I think Mr Norms Dodge  had 2 1965 AFX dodges, 1 hardtop - the 2 tone blue car ( ex lindamood / ambelwagon built / factory supplied car)  and 1 sedan - the red car aka Grand Spalding Dodge done in house car )

and Yea, I like old race cars , more so than factory stock stuff actually. Especially CMG cars. Roger Lindamood is my all time favorite driver.

years ago now when I was known as Strat the "Linkmaster" i linked to a funny car site that had several photos of the CMG '68,, you might want to try to find that site... i'm done.

Ghoste

Believe it or not Brock, I did remember that (although I wasn't positive it was that supplied the link) and I already went searching for that site again.  I came up empty handed but found a whole bunch of other great ones.  They just didn't have the pics I was looking for.

Right on all accounts Bill.

Norm thinks Gary Dyer has the car stashed away somewhere although Gary isn't confirming or denying!
