The guy I bought the car from said his last girl friend took the keys, so I could not start the car

but that did not dicourage me from the sale. Ilooked it over good and still bought it.

I got the car home had a key made ran a fuel line into a gas can, new battery and POW. She fired up and I drove the shit out of it for about three months. Then..........

Nice color choice. Mine is a straight silver, I would love to go darker, but if I get around to a repaint, I will stay the same to avoid repainting the eng. comp/underbody/trunk/door openings. I guess the "coming along" was premature. I will wait til you are done posting pics.

Are you running a vinyl top or just the trim for it?

I am going vinyl on top because the charger is such a big car I wanted to break up the paint a bit.

I agree. I love mine with the vinyl top. Although, there are a few colors I would run with out it. Did you blackout the tail panel and/or the hood indentations?

Well thats it for now, more to come as I spend $$$$$$$$$$$$$ at this point. Can't wait to have it back together. I also put torque boxes in and a fresh 3rd member with 3:91 so far. The engine came out and I am going to box it up and store it. The new 440 has been bored .40 over and stroked out to 500 ci. Cant wait.

The tail pannel and hood are next and also radiator support. I will get the bottom of the doors while at it so they match the interior. The stripe is also painted on.
