One of the added bonuses of living on a hill in the sticks, you don't get many visitors. Hen parties are always at somebody elses house.

Tough situation though, no matter what you do you are a target as soon as you get in range walking in on a group of gals after a couple of bottles of wine. Just shrug it off or enjoy it as the case may be.

My wife and I got each other a new TV for Christmas......SHE came up with the idea of getting some people together for a UFC fight tonight. I should have expected this....but it has turned into more of her friends than my buddies. This should be interesting.......

I've learned to embrace situations like girls night at my house.  For starters, all of Mrs. Shakey's girlfriends are great lookin' down to earth gals so being around them is a pleasure.

Typically I'll take the children out for dinner and keep them out until it's almost bedtime to allow the ladies a chance to get started on their get together.  Once I get the kids home, a quick hello to all the ladies and then the girls are off to bed.  I'll then swing by the kitchen and offer to make the ladies some unique martini's which always gets a positive response.

After one, the giggles start and I will usually be invited to join.  To be fair, I'll wait for the nod from Lori before accepting the invitation.  I actually enjoy our conversations and always get them laughing and always have a good time with my Wife and her/our friends.

Instead of bringing up lung butter and spitting it into the kitchen waste bin in front of the women, try offering one of these next time they're over.

Swedish Berry Martini
In a cocktail shaker combine:
1oz Vodka
1oz Banana Liqueur
1oz Sour Puss Raspberry Liqueur

Shake well over ice and then add:
1oz 7UP or Sprite
Pour into a 4oz martini glass and garnish with some Swedish Berries.

Did that late one night, about 1:30 in the morning off the patio, ( live out in the country ). Heard some guys about 1/4 mile away trespassing into & abandoned house. Called the cops & they were more than happy to be arrested, so there are advantages to killing the weeds. .

My wife knows better  Actually we get along and hardly ever argue over anything. We pretty much know what to expect from each other. After 30 years if you don't have it figured out I guess you never will.

i have been bashed for 59 years .cant do anything right she hates all my friends dont do much around the house,maybe i need a new one.if i had to do it over there would have been a new one every 5 years. or maybe none than i could have done all the things i wanted to do.camping hunting, golf, more cars,than today i found out my friend at the library 35 has found a a new boy friend. maybe some day it will be all over.
