Anyone used these yet? Because the one I got fits about as good as O.J's glove.  Just wondering if its a bad panel or if they all fit like crap.

71-72 then.  I assumed that 71 thru 74 were the same. Either way, this quarter isn't gonna fit.

tricky lugnuts

Got any pictures/description of their shortcomings?

Because if they suck, well, that would suck.

I was hoping to buy a pair from AMD just to have them in case I ever needed them.

Patronus

every single reproduced part or panel I've ever ordered has needed fitment or had a blemish in it...

I can snap some pics in the A.M.  The panel is too flat.  If you match the body line at the top of the door its at least 1" off at the bottom. Also the radius of the door opening if off. :RantExplode:

Where did you buy them from? Are you sure they are AMD? Just so you know, if you have a problem, AMD will issue a refund if you return them

Got them straight from AMD.  I was just wondering if anyone else had any issues before I called them.

I think this is the first time about some mayor problem with AMD stuff

Talked to AMD yesterday.  The panel is 1/2" too long from the lower body line to the rocker according to them.  They are sending a call tag and shipping out a new one. :2thumbs:  kudos to AMD!

WTF????? Its been 2 months now since we first got these quarters in.  A few weeks ago AMD says that the measurements we gave them for the quarter panels are indeed an inch too long and they are sending a call tag.  We hadn't heard anything and gave them a call a few days ago.  No one had any recollection of the previous conversation and they said they would remeasure them and get back too us.  Well, they didn't and we had to call them today.  Now, they are saying that the quarters we have are from they same batch as the ones they measured and the measurement we gave them can't be right because theirs all measure correct.   :RantExplode:

The guy then suggests that we cut the panel and remove an inch from it.  WTF???? I bought full quarters so that I would have welds all over.  If I knew that was the case I would have cut the rust holes out and used patch panels,  and I would have an extra 1500 bucks for parts!

Not impressed with AMD right now......

Could someone give me the measurements from the bottom seam up to the first body line?  Purty please? These measured 8 and 5/8ths.  My originals were 7 and change.

So what now? No follow up from AMD? are their panels crap? Man, I'm hoping for front fenders to be done by them and deck lids. They got the wrong measurements on the quarters? Enlighten me, please......Al

AMD finally sent a new quarter that they had already fitted to a car.  It fit right on, the only trimming needed was the very bottom lip at the rocker.
