That looks like the same road people shot videos of in 08. The problem with idiot drivers is they are too stupid to know they are idiot drivers so they go out driving instead of staying home where they belong.

This is right here in Spokane, WA
We have a lot of hills here, I live on one of the hills actually. Part of this is drivers fault, part of it is city's fault. Our street maintenance crew is worthless. Our mayor is a dumb lady, equivalent of Arnold. We have foot deep potholes everywhere and when it snows hard they make huge berms everywhere, including downtown. Most people, especially elderly have hard time digging themselves out.
You have to realize that we have a lot of Californians that moved up here throughout the years. They have no idea what snow is + driving a 2wd car just doesn't work out.

Bunch of IDIOTS!

"Hmm, my wheels are locked up so lets keep HOLDING the brakes and trying to steer"  :brickwall:

Only one out of the bunch that knew how to drive was the guy in the black car that didnt touch his brakes and steered around it all.

Where the hell do people get there licenses from? Dont they know if your wheels are locked up you cant steer the damn car? Put it in a lower gear, let off the brakes and let the engine slow ya down while still being able to steer the damn car.

When I was taking drivers ed in high school 1979/80, it snowed and the teacher took us down to the Sears parking lot and taught us how to power-slide and control a skid. Best practical lesson I have ever received from a teacher.

Today, Sears would sue, the teacher would be fired for placing minors is grave danger, and we have drivers who can't handle the basics of operating a vehicle.

Besides not all 4wd vehicles are the same in the snow

That's a very cool informational video. I'm sorting out a new 4wd for my Mother.

I have little sympathy for those people, Californians or not. I grew up in Michigan and managed never to have a snow-related accident. Notice one driver made it through clean, with little more than some steering wheel?

Licenses are nothing more than a tax stamp, they have no relationship to driver competence.

Well, 10-wheel active all-wheel drive might get you up the icy hill but it doesn't stop you any quicker going down, especially if you're an idiot who should have stayed home.
