Has anyone purchased a correct 69/disk brake master cylinder lately???

1969 charger r/t bendix front disk brakes

NAPA no longer carries the "dead on" reman master cylinder (mentioned in a thread from a couple of years ago).  In fact they don't carry one at all.   

Is there another source for the correct part or a functional replacement with the correct line placement (engine side)?

My local NAPA store (Cleveland) told me it showed "no longer available" about a month ago. 

I'll try an Atlanta NAPA store tommorrow - just in case. .....

Yes, even reman.   I was at the counter - not on the phone.  Seasoned counter man was not blowing me off as a quack wasting his time.  (that I am aware of anyway:lol:)

Atlanta NAPA:   Initially told me special order.  When I asked how long -  he called it in.  Turns out there are no cores available for reman, therefore no remans.  However, they will reman your core.

New is not available.   He was optimistic that more would be produced since they left the number in the system.  But he could not tell me when that might be.

Anyone have an extra core?

They show them in stock, let you buy them & then the next day cancel your order telling you they are no longer available.....been there, done that

I just purchased one about a month or so ago from Auto Zone. I had no problem finding the mc, it's the brake booster I had trouble with.
