1973 Jim Clark Engine Reciept

I got a new scanner so I thought I would scan this, thought some of you might find this interesting. This was in my glovebox when I got the car it in 78. The engine that was put in has a bare stamping pad. Install short block...$169.00 labor   It says rod out so I don't know if the block was saved or not. I guess it could still be out there somewhere.

thats good  , to have history !!  wonder what the story was on windowing the block    if our cars could talk & all the stuff they have been through over the years

You can see the other color ink below the name where I found him back then. He stated he was accelerating on a ramp to the interstate and it made a noise and died
