Does anyone else think it might be cool to start a database of parts we have that have that has VIN numbers on them?  It might help identify what Chargers are no longer around and it might even help relocate matching numbers parts to cars still out there.  I know for myself, I've got several 4-speeds with VIN numbers on them and a couple 440 blocks.  I even had some door panels that had the original car's VIN written on them just to identify what they came out of.  A list of the dead cars could even be listed on the Registry sites.  Maybe someone is already doing this and I'm just not aware.  What's your thoughts?

Great idea but one of AWESOME proportions. I think were're talkin' like 1/2 million cars if we go '66-'74.

Good luck!  :2thumbs:

I'm even willing to help collect and compile data if I get enough people willing to send data of what parts they have with the VIN data that's on each component.

Just 6T9 CHGR

Lee if you have any '69 stuff send me the VIN's & Ill check them against my registry database....

I also have a list of '69 specific items in the registry as well (blocks, broadcast sheets, fendertags etc)
Chris' '69 Charger R/T

I do that with the 1970 Hamtramck & LA Registries also. If anyone has a 1970 part of any kind with 0B or 0E in the VIN, please email me.

Every once in a while someone gets lucky.

It is great for recording history too. You (yeah, YOU!) may be the last person on the planet with any record that a certain car ever existed.  :scratchchin:

If it's from 69 St. Louis built car (9G), I'd be interested in knowing. If it's from a Charger, Chris and I share information.

If you have VINs, and especially fender tags, from 69 Lynch Road (9A) built cars, I'd be interested in knowing about them also.

I'm especially interested in information from four doors and wagons from both plants.

Seeking information on '69 St. Louis plant VINs, SPDs and VONs. Buld sheets and tag pictures appreciated. Over 3,000 on file thanks to people like you.
