Don't mind it being backwards! It's the only way to stop youtube from yanking it until it's officially released.

I think I spot a silver 2nd Gen Charger!  :2thumbs:

Sorry if this is all common knowledge already, I didn't even realize they were filing this  :icon_smile_blackeye:

I spy plenty of RHD cars when it's played that way.

Gotta love a '69

This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Rumor has it that the Charger doesn't survive any better than usual, and in fact they may finally be killing it permanently.  Vinnie may get a Chally next time.

At this point I wouldn't mind if they put the Charger character out if its misery.  I wanted them to glorify the car but they seem to prefer just gratuitiously killing it every episode like Kenny on South Park.

Looks good. I will be looking forward to seeing this one.

THE STIG

Hollywood still has no new ideas. Everything they put out anymore is a sequel/prequeal or a remake. When they do try out a new idea the story (if there is one) is lost in a sea of cartoons called CGI. That stupid "Avatar" a plot that was paper thin and the similaritys to "Dances with Wolves" are so obvious I can't believe there hasn't been a plagurism suit yet. What was I talking about before my rant, Oh yeah Chargers are cool.

He stated openly when he first wrote the script 15 years ago that he got the idea from Dances with wolves after watching it in the theaters.

IMHO Hollywood still has as many new ideas as they ever have in the past.  The problem is that the studios spend too much money per major film to wanna take any risks anymore.  Remakes/prequels/sequels guarantee them at least some return on the investment no matter how bad the new version turns out to be.

I agree on the CGI being way overused and not looking good.  It's sorta like bondo on cars.  Or makeup & airbrushing on women.  It's fine in moderation but it just has way too much potential for abuse.

Yeah but time marches on.  "Dances" came out like 20 years ago.  Most of the target audience of "Avatar" is too young to have their own memories of 9/11.  "Avatar" is certainly similar in theme but it's not the same movie.

Mrs.Caveman

for a new idea movie have a look at MEGAMIND !just watch it with my daughter last night and i loved it!its not predictable as all the other movies!i know its a cartoon!

Yeah fine originality's kinda dead, but...after the first word in the English language was invented wasn't every word after that, and every person that therefore used that first word and all others after that, a copy-cat or a "plaigarist?"  Let's face it, everything's been said and done already, after all this is the year 2010 not 10 B.C.

It isn't about having a completely new, fresh, innovative idea that no one in the universe has come up with because that's impossible-all ideas are based on a culmination or modification of other ideas that came before it.  Instead, it's about having an idea, or in this case a concept or idea that people are willing to enjoy, much less vomit their lunch over.  If someone doesn't like the 'Fast series or whatever the heck else Holly-wierd is pumping out, fine, but originality's got NOTHING to do with it.

Now back to the topic, the 'Fast series is great entertainment for any creature that has a penis and appreciates cars, women and random violence.  The Charger and I will be there on opening night...

there are only two good things in this flick, and they are both attached to Jordana Brewster.

Speaking of TV Chargers, the 73 in Burn Notice met its fiery end.....but it did take two Fords with it!

So they killed off the only likable character. Anyhow I haven't been to a theatre to see a new movie since the last Terminator, which may sound a bit hypocrtical after my last post on this topic but that's one franchise I can't stay away from for some reason I go all out and buy the comics and graphic novels, I always loved the original concept on that one. But I just can't justify paying $9 to go see the same regurgitated nonsense anymore. I read an article online a few months back that was discussing the MGM bankrupcy and how it affected upcoming projects, the next "007", "The Hobbit", "The Three Stooges" movie and (my personal favorite) the "Red Dawn" remake. Let's see how will these films all end, Bond kills the bad guy, Bilbo Bobbins gives the ring to Frodo, Moe gets a pie in the face, and Mr. Gorbachov tears down the wall. Don't get me wrong I'm not a total hater I'll probably see the new "F&F" and if it ever comes out the new "007" I'll just wait until I can get the DVD at redbox for $1. And back to "F&F" the scene in the trailer where Vin Diesel is jumping from roof to roof in Rio, I think anyone here who is a gamer will remember "Modern Warfare 2" where  the player has to jump from roof top to roof top and jump into a waiting Helocopter I think it's sad when Hollywood is ripping off video games.

Mrs.Caveman

you guys thinking too much :slap: its a 90minutes cars, girls abd action movie!never gonna be a classic but it doesnt make it a bad movie!i do like them!ratter watch this then x factor or any talent show and game show it the box!its like topless carwashing for you guys!watch it for hours nothing special but you enjoy it! :pity: heheheh...
