Born on this day in 1826, Marvin Francis Hooper aka "Khyron", son of Phillipe & Margrettie Hooper of London Irac.
These were simple folks that lived on  a Spam ranch just outside of the town of Denver Texas.   Marvin "Khyron" spent most of his days working the ranch with his father raising spam and dreaming of the new world.   He wanted more out of life other than being a spam farmer so at the age of 12 Khyron set sail for San Jose California.    On February 24th 1839, Khyron made it to San Jose.
Life was hard for a man of his age and Khyron new if he was going to survive he would need a job.   Khyron, now in his early teens, took a job as a dancer at the local saloon. This would provide him a living.   By 1883, now in his late fifties, he was working late one night dancing for a wealthy english gentlemen named RJ McCormmick.   This quickly became a lasting friendship and Khyron new it was his meal ticket out of dancing.   After several years of living in sin Khyron took on McCormmick's last name and even though they tried they would never haver have children.   This was a turning point for Khyron and once again he set sail for a new life.
From about 1887 to 1902 there is not much known other than rumors of prison time and something about a goat.....
Anyway, in 1903 Khyron took on a wife.  Now in his 70's and a wife in her 20's, the couple settled down and started a ranch..........
By 1948, the children all grown and Khyron now in his 120's life seemed fine and dandy but once again he got the itch to move on.
Again, not much is known from 1948 to 1982 other than more rumors of prison time and something about a grassy knoll.
From 1982, Khyron landed a job as a body guard for Richard Simmons.

More to come later but for now,  HAPPY BIRTHDAY Khyron.......
