He's a great guy, and does a phenomenal job with 3-speed wiper motor restorations (plus a lot more too!).  He can probably ID your parts just from the pictures you've posted and will probably help out.

IMHO, diff years.There are newers wiper motors ( 72/73 I think is the cross year ) with a "tower" on the gears cap. I'm pretty sure the shaft is slightly diff on these
