What is this? Dash of 74 Charger

I'm not real familiar with '74 Chargers.  What is this thing dangling from the top of the dash?   

They almost look like little spot lights.

that's some crap that you can buy at truck stops or auto parts stores....they're mount anywhere map lights....looks like they were installed because the dash gauges went out and the owner doesn't know how to fix them.

edit:  aside from that, that dash is beautiful!
