hey i got a fiberglass hood and trunk lid ordered for my 73 challenger. i know you need to switch the springs on the hood hinges used for steel hoods with ones made for fiberglass T/A hoods so it don't create stress on the new hood question is all i need to do is swap springs? nothing else but taking off the old hood springs and replace with ones for fiberglass hoods? and what would you do with the rear trunk lid? i haven't seen any springs offered for a fiberglass trunk lid. would the ones thats on it now with the stock steel trunk lid work? or would they create stress on the fiberglass lid and start buldging it up in the hinge area?

Does the E body trunk braces have the adjustment slots to allow a change in tension?
Way inside under the package tray area.

FLG

The trunk tension can be adjusted from under package tray, as for the hood yep just swap springs.
